He's a clever little guy, but he's also prone to acting passive-aggressively and making snide remarks, especially if provoked. He can be pretty bitter in contrast to his age. Aside from that, Julian is very eager to be helpful to people who show him kindness. You could say he's a natural caretaker type. If you're nice to him, he'll be good to you in kind. And kick your ass out of bed when he thinks you need it.

A secondary effect of his lack of secure adult presences is that he feels obligated to repay people who try to look after him, especially Yang from canon. Mind readers will also be able to easily see that Julian is kind of insecure, which results in him being very fixated on wanting to make himself useful to people he likes, both so that he can repay them and so that they won't throw him away. He won't take kindly to people prodding around in his head without permission, but it's not like he can stop them, is it. ▶ MAGICAL INFORMATION: Julian is just a regular human. No magic in his canon. ▶ MEDICAL INFORMATION: He's in good shape. And for what it's worth, Julian is very accustomed to lengthy space travel. ▶ OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & TRIGGERS: Talking shit about/threatening Yang or anyone he has roughly equivalent affection for is the fastest way to make Julian get violently angry. The topic of orphans, particularly war orphans, is also very likely to hit close to home for him. Though in the latter case he'll just get really sad as opposed to potentially murderous.
